meet the doctor


Dr. Jerry Hofferth has been in full-time private practice serving Michiana since 1992. Following the completion of his B.S. in Chemistry from North Central College in 1988, he attended Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa where he received his Doctor of Chiropractic (D.C.) degree in 1992. In 1996, Dr. Hofferth earned his Chiropractic Certification in Spine Trauma (C.C.S.T.) from the International Chiropractor's Association (ICA). He currently sits on the board of directors of the Indiana State Chiropractic Association.

Since the summer of 2005, Dr. Hofferth has served as a University Physician to the athletic department at the University of Notre Dame. In the spring of 2006, he was invited to serve in the same capacity at Bethel College.


Dr. Hofferth (a native of Munster, IN) and his wife, Kelly (a native of Spokane, WA), were married in 1990 and have two daughters, Sydney and Madison. In 2004, Kelly earned her M.Ed. from the University of Notre Dame and is currently a health care consultant. The Hofferths actively support the community through their involvement with the Logan Center, The Scholarship Foundation of St. Joseph County, Hope Rescue Mission and Center for the Homeless.
